The Pro Shelf is expensive and I can see why – it has a bed for 85 seedlings that can be transferred to the trays above + the LED lights are much better than the expensive ones you get online – a lot went into this design for sure and I am happy to have this system as part of my ‘Urban Farm’.

Easy setup – buy maintenance is a bit of a chore. Had to take this apart and wash the parts before I could reuse it. However, it does help to do this every few weeks to avoid build up of algae. I would recommend setting aside at least a couple of hours; as I said, its still worth it!

New to this – bought it about 3 weeks back. Seeing positive results – will need to see how it works out long term…but so far I am excited to be using the tower! FYI, its a bit louder than I expected. The water pump has some humming to it – so it may take some getting used to.

A Chirstmas gift from the hubby. Did attempt to grow some peppers initially, but had to stop as the plants began to die. After figuring out the right nutrients, things got better. Also, note to self: this works better indoors or in a controlled environment.
